Why Indian Equity Market, Sensex Slipped 500pts

1. Concerns over P-Notes:

Supreme Court-appointed SIT on Friday asked Sebi to compulsorily identify real owners of foreign funds coming through P-Note route and also prosecute those using equities for tax evasion. 

2. China Stocks Sink:
Shanghai Composite Index plunged 8.5 percent at the close, Most Since 2007.


3. FOMC Meeting:
Financial Markets across the globe are keep watch on upcoming US FED meeting that might take another small step toward lifting U.S. interest rates.. 


4. Parliamentary logjam:
The first week of the monsoon session of parliament has been a complete washout. 


5. Q1 corporate earnings:
Disappointed earnings from key heavyweights also dented sentiment in Indian Equity Market.
