Delhi govt. Proposes to increase VAT on Diesel from 12.5% to 30%, which can potentially raise Diesel prices in Delhi by Rs 8/ltr (current Rs 51/ltr). Increase in diesel price would widen the gap with CNG ( Rs 38/kg) aiding conversion to CNG. Positive for IGL.
